Weddings at Blue Mountain Lake

Blue Mountain Lake is a unique wedding destination in South Canterbury, just 30 minutes from Fairlie. A stunning, completely private lake, surrounded by trees and mountains, in a quiet and private location. A gorgeous crystal clear lake with a huge lawn and shady trees. More than enough room for a large party.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help you have the best day or your life! We believe that nothing is a problem and we are all about solution! We can assist as much or little as you like.

Accommodation

Blue Mountain Lake House and Lodge can sleep up to 18 people. The Cook Shop that sleeps 8 people, can be also be booked and is short drive from the lake.

Camping, camper vans, floats, horse trucks and more are welcome to be brought along for extra accomodation. The lake boosts a large car park, huge lawn and many mature trees to set ups underneath.

Accommodation at the lake is kept at a maximum of 50 people.

Where to get married?

Blue Mountain Lake is a perfect place for your special day. We have several beautiful places for the ceremony including the board walk, lawn and a natural spur that runs into the lake.

You are always welcome to get married at another location and hold your reception at Blue Mountain Lake.

Wedding Reception

Blue Mountain Lake was designed for parties! There is plenty of room to set up marquees, tents, food hire outlets, bands etc. We can assist you as much or as little as you like.

How can we help?

Our mission is to provide an amazing day and to help in anyway that we can. We can provide bar and wait staff, catering, transport, liquor licence, set up, set down and tidying up. Please see our package for more details below. Any extras from our list below or by request can be made available.
